Hiawassee
We spent the weekend of November 13 and 14, 1999, in Hiawassee (North Georgia). We drove up Friday night and stayed at the Fieldstone Inn. On Saturday, we walked to the High Shoals Falls, and then drove to Brasstown Bald, where we climbed the last piece on foot. On Sunday, we hiked the Bear Hair Gap Trail in Vogel State Park, which took us about 5 hours in total. The weather was splendid - bright sunshine and temperatures in the low seventies (that's about 23 centigrades).

We reached the High Shoals Falls after a 1.5 hour walk

Was is worth the 3 hour walk to the top? I think so! But now we still have to get back...
